THE BUTTER MARKET. HIGH TRICES FOR DANISH. By Telegraph.—Vress Assn.—Copyrlehf. Received Dec. 1, 9.30 p.m. London, Dec. 30. The produce trade is hopeful that tho control of butter and cheese may be removed in tho early spring. It is understood Hint the Government recently paid about 330s per cv.t. f.o.u. for Danish hutter, delivery .till February. In the House of Commons, Mr. Austen Chamberlain (Chancellor of the Exchequer), stated that the Treasury had refused to purchase 201 MI tons of Dutch butter, because the price asked was 335s per cwt. f.o.b. At the Bradford wool sales, prices continue to harden. There is a strong demand, but business is restricted owing lo top makers' limited commitments. Wheat and hour ere quiet, and unchanged. A fair quantity of Australian flour has been allocated. Oat 3 are weal;. La Plain, on spot, 52s Cd and 535, LONDON' MARKETS. Hecelved Dee. 1, 10.25 p.m. London, Nov. 28.
