On Wednesday last, the Auroa Club opened its green for the season In the presence of a good number of visitors, 10 whom Mr. B. Dunn, in the absence of the president (Mr. A. Johnstone) extended a hearty welcome, .Mrs. Puun throwing the jack omldai applause. The president of the Man&la Club (Mr 0 D Gee) returned thanks on behalf of the 'visitors. The usual match, president v. vicepresident, was played the former winning by 98 to 71.
