SOLDIERS CHARGED WITH THEFT. Ey Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyr'sl't. London, Nov. 24. Sergt-Major E. W. Bradford, Sergeant Simpcock, Corporal W. it. Grosvenor, and Private P. Courtenay, all Australians, were charged at Lambeth with being concerned in the theft of £I9OO worth of Australian Red Cross stores. The prosecution alleged that Bradford incited Grosvenor, dispatch clerk, in conjunction with Simpcock and Courtenay, who were in charge of lorrie?, to remove the good-? to the premises of two men named Barfoot and Kellard, who were also charged. It is alleged that Barfoot and Kellard, in two months, disposed of EOOO pairs of socks, 1000 shirts, 200 pyjamas and other goods belonging to the Australian Red Cross.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
