The above teams met at the Recreation Ground yesterday afternoon, the match being an easy one for New Plymouth who batted first, and declared the innings closed at the fall of the seventh wicket, with a score of 210 runs. Heskett played a fine Innings, and had the misfortune t? mlsj another* century by only four runs. Woollett, who shared the opening with Heskett, compiled 32, and Saunders added 33 to the total.
