A satisfactory agreement having been effected the work of discharging coal from the Karorl. Is proceeding. It Is understood the men are receiving 3s Od per hour and 5s for ovortlme. The Union Company gave a 'substantial bonus to the officers, engineers, and members of the crews of the Karorl and Terawhltl as a mark of appreciation of their exertions during the salvage operations.
