MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
CIVIL BUSINESS. (Before Mr. T. A. B. Bailey, S.M.). Judgment was given for plaintiff in default, in the following undefended cases, at the New Plymouth Magistrate's Court yesterday:—\V. J. Prestney (Mr. R. H. Quilliam) v. L. G. Poingdestre, £22 14s Sd (costs £2 14s)-, E. S. Davies (Mr. A. C. Lawrey) y. S. F joll £2 14s fid (costs 10s). In the judgment summons case Taranaki Hospital and Charitable Aid Board v. T. Northcott, debtor was ordered to pay the sum of £37 3s forthwith, in default 37 days' imprisonment.
