STRATFORD A. AND P. SHOW.

TO-DAY AND TO-MORROW. The Stratford Show opens to-day and will be continued to-morrow. Splendid entries have been received, and it is claimed that the Show win be particularly good in respect of Jersey, Hoistem, and Ayrshire cattle. Pirn, «« usual, form a small section, but the aggregate entries are slightly larger than ;at the last show. In sheep, daises are well filled, as also are the classes for horses and dogs. The competitions will be a feature of the show, and there is a (substantial increase in the number of entries received in the home industries section. To-morrow will be People's Day, and a special train will run from New Plymouth,
