A LAUNCH MISSING.

LAST SEEN NEAR WELLINGTON. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Nov. 24. A launch owned by Mr. E, Cording of Brooklyn is missing from Island Bay. The owner and five companions left Island Bay early yesterday morning and were seen at 1 p.m. heading in the direction of Terawhiti. A search is being made by a fishing launch, and steamship captains are requested to keep a look out. George William Kepple, employed in the Public Works, is one of the crew, the names of the others are not at present known.
