WOOLLEN MILLS.
AUCKLAND FIRM'S PURCHASE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Timaru, Last Night. The Timaru woollen mills have been sold by Messrs Lilieo and Meßae to the Auckland firm, Messrs. Macky, Logan, and Caldwell, Ltd., who lake them over from December Ist, and who form a new company. The mills were started in ISTfi, but successive owners failed to work them successfully until twentyseven years ago, when the present owners and others from Dunedin took over and made a success of the business. They have much enlarged the buildings and installed up-to-date machinery.
