RIOTS IN CAIRO.
ANTI-MILNER DEMONSTRATIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyricht. Received Nov. 24, 1.20 a.m. London, Nov. 20. The demonstrations in- Cairo readied a climax when a mob composed chiefly of students paraded the streets shouting "Down with Milner." They stormed the police stations. Troops were called out to assist ; the police and fired ou the rioters, killing ten and wounding over a hundred. Other British-troops, armed with sticks, chased the demonstrators from t]ie streets. British cavalry is now patrolling Cairo and the city is reported quiet—Aus.NZ. Cable Assn. THE CABINET RESIGNS. Received Nov. 23, 5.5 p.m. Cairo,' Nov. Id.
