The accommodation provided by Stratford hotels and boarding-houses during the Show is expected to fall far short or requirements. The President of the A. and P. Association will be pleased to hear from any householders who have spare rooms or beds whicii they would be prepared to let for a few days. Meals can be obtained at any of the local hotels. Since April 844 new members have been secured, the latest list of names to be added to the membership being as follows:—Morev and Son, L. Strachan, W. J. Uhlenberg, A. E. King, L. Hitchcock, E. Keightley, A. Lees, M. J. Jury, W. D. Blennerhassett. The Dominion Fire Brigades' Conference will be held in Stratford on February 19th. It will be seen from an advertisement in another column that there will be a special train service from New Plymouth to Stratford on Thursday next, People's Day of the Show. The train will stop at the showgrounds, and will leave New Plymouth at 10.50 a.m., arriving at Stratford at 12.50 p.m. 'The property next to the Marble Bar m Broadway was sold this week to Mr Stewart Hustomiof Inglewood, at £l5O per foot. The section runs right back to Miranda Street. Mr. Hustin intends to build a large up-to-date billiard saloon on the section.
