It carried a resolution in favor of the railway workers in each State being granted direct and equal elective representation on the Board of Management of the Railway Department in each State; condemning •the Whitely scheme and all its variations; and pledging to resist to their utmost all attempts to introduce it among the railwaymen; in favor of all railwaymen being granted access to the industrial Arbitration Courts.—Aus. and N.Z.
