GARDEN PARTY. (From Our Own Correspondent.) Nov. 20. A large number of town and country parishioners availed themselves of the Rev. Mr. and Mrs. Stanton's invitation to attend a garden party at the vicarage grounds this afternoon to welcome the Bishop of Auckland, Dr. Averill, who is paying an official visit ro the district. Climatic conditions were favorable .and a pleasant hour or so was spent. Afternoon tea was banded round by the ladies. The Bishop holds a confirmation service here this evening.
