The Rimu arrived from Onehunga about 11 a.m. yesterday morning, and sailed again at night after the arrival of the mall train. She Is duo again on Friday. THE BADEN TOWELL. The Baden Powell left Wellington at noon yesterday, and will arrive at New Plymouth about noon to-fday, sailing for Wellington again to-night. She is bringing a full cargo of general merchandise. '■ THE AUPOURI. The Aupouri was to leave Onehunga last night for New Plymouth, where she Is due itbout noon to-day. She has 71 tons of general cargo to discharge here. ACCIDENT TO THE KARORI. By Telegraph,—Prcs3 Association. Dunedln, Yesterday. The collier Karorl, while entering harbor to-day, from Newcastle, touched a sandbank. She is berthed and reported to be making water fast. Later. While navigating between Quarantine and Government Island, with a strona flood tide, tho vessel sheered towards Quarantine, touching the bottom. After the vessel berthed It was discovered that she was making water fast in No. 2 tauk amidships, the engine-room and the stokehold, putting out the fires. Soundings are being taken, and the full extent of the damage is unknown till the rargo is discharged. Active steps are being taken to cope with tile inflow of water. KAWHIA BAR SHIFTED. Notice has been received from the Kawhin Harbor authorities that the Kawhia bar has shifted to the north, and now occupies the same position as prior to September, 1917. The leading beacons for entering the harbor have been altered as follows: The beacon on the sandbank to seaward of Te Mom Island has been re-established and painted white, and the front beacon on the rock off South Head has been painted brown, anil Is not to be used. The beacon on the sandbank and that on tho western extreme of Te Motu in near line bearing 123deg. (S. 71deg.
