A MOTOR FATALITY. By Telegraph.— Press Association. _. , •> Wairoa, Nov. 17. The inquest has concluded on the Native Kalrn I'omare, who died on i l rida\ us the result of her horse colliding with a motor-car driven bv one Paul Lemuel Te Urnpu, The jury found tnat death was caused by collision with a car driven at excessive speed while the driver was under the influence of liquor. The woman was thrown on to the bonnet, then through the wind screen to the back of the car. RETURNED SOLDIER'S DEATH. By Telegraph,—Press Association, Auckland, Last Night. William August Isaacs, a returned soldier, aged* about 48 years, was found with his throat cut in a boardinghouse to-day. An inquest will be held tomorrow.
