London, Nov. 14. oad facts were revealed at tttt inquest on Mrs. Alma Steane, a wellknown society beauty, and one «f the tnost popular figures in the West End whirl of pleasure. She divorced her husband and married Steane some months ago. Mrs Eteane returned to her sumptuous flat after the Victory Ball, drank cyanide of potasfeium, and died in her husband's arms. Her husband said that her apparent gaiety masked & terrible life of unhappiness In Which she, whose parents committed suicide, constantly thought she beard her mother~cafling her. A verdict was returned of suicide While of unsound mind. —Times Service.
