FRACAS IN CAFE.
AUSTRALIANS IN A DISPUTE By Telegraph.—Press Aasn.—CopyrtfM. Received Nov. 10, 11.45 p.m. Paris, Nov. 14. A serious fracas is reported from Peromie, where a party of Australian sought to enter a cafe. Many customers were already seated and a dispute arose. Some customers inside opened fire with revolvers, stating that, they did so in defence of the French proprietor. One Australian was killed and another wounded. Several assailants were ar«>sted and an enquiry has been opened.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
