REPARATION CLAIMS.

FRENCH SYSTEM TO BE USED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyrlcli!. London, Nov. 12. In connection with the reparation claims against Germany, the Treasury is engaged in computing the pension claims and has enlisted the co-operation of overseas officials in the matter. It is understood that the French pension system will be used as the basis on which the aggregate amount will be fixed. The whole question bristles with technical difficulties. Among the points raised is how far, if at all, provision can be made for those whose health later on may entitle them to claim a pension after the total amount of Germany's liability is fixed. —Aus.-N.Z.
