Profiteering appears to be rampant in all parts of the British Empire. But it is not alone responsible for the high cost of living. The workers are largely responsible. They have adopted the insane policy of demanding increased wages for reduced production. This policy "is morally ana economically wrong, and until it is abandoned there can bo no hope for an improvement in the domestic conditions.
