Received Nov. 14, 10.5 p.m. Brisbane, Nov 144 Following upon a protest by returned feoldiers, Dr. Hirschfield, late German Consul in Queensland, who was previously interned, but who was released on parole, has been re-arrested with a view to further internment. DAMAGE BY HAIL STORM. Received Nov. 14, 10.5 p.m. Sydney, Nov. 144. A terrific hail storm devastated orchards and crops in South Bathurst, and did much damage to other property.
