EVERYBODY'S. "HEREDITY"—A WORLD FILM FEATURE. "Heredity," a World drama showing to-night and to-morrow at Everybody's, starring dainty Barbara Castleton, supported by John Bowers and little Madge Evans, is a picture that should score a direct hit. The story is bright and convincing with plenty of thrilling situations, mingled with mystery. It ia fascinating and interesting and Barbara Castleton gives a true-to-life portrayal of the girl who is arrested for the murder of her mother and saved by the man she loves, in the nick of time. The theme of the story is the old adage "blood will tell," and it is charmingly carried out in a natural manner. There is a fine supporting programme and Everybody's orchestra. THE PEOPLE'S. LAST NIGHT OF HAL. LOCKWOOD. Harold Loclcwood and May Allison, the popular screen combination, appear finally to-night at the People's in the picturisation of Robert W. Chambers' celebrated novel "The, Hidden Onildren." It is a story of the struggles of the early colonists and Harold Lockwood as Loskill, a scout, is in his most charming and effective part. The latest gazette, comedy and interest films are also shown. CHARLES RAY TO-MORROW. To-morrow Charles Ray, Ince's wonder boy, appears in his latest virile production "String Beans," in which, as a country job he makes good. It is said that Ray never has done anything finer. The matinee to-morrow commences at 2 p.m. MR. AMOORE'S SOKTG RECITALS. Those of our readers who enjoy a good concert should take this opportunity of hearing Mr. Ainoorc while he is in Taranaki. These concerts are educational as well as being a musical treat, and the Australian singer is able to give from his extensive repertoire a very varied programme. Selections from grand opera dramatic as well as lyrical, well-known sacred numbers from the great masters, oratorios, in which he demonstrates extraordinary flexibility, as well as beautiful legato singing and old ever-green ballads, as well as ballads which are modern, and in their way, if only as a contrast, quite as interesting. Full particulars concerning hia recitals will be found on page one.
