A TEMPORARY "WET" SPELL, By Tele6rnpb.-P.-es3 Assn.—Copyright. Received Nov. 13, 7.10 p.m. Ottawa, Nov. 12. The House of Commons of the Canadian Parliament amended the prohibition measure transferrins to the provinces control over imports hitherto administered by the Dominion Government. The result will be a "wet" spell for Canada during the next few months, because imports will be allowed as lar as the Dominion Government is concerned, and provincial enactments cannot be enforced till referenda of electors are taken in particular provinces.— Renter Service.
