TE HENUI CHURCH.
ROSE TEA AND ENTERTAINMENT. A very prettily dressed rose tea and entertainment was held in the Sunday School hall of Holy Trinity Church, Te Henui, yesterday afternoon and last night. There were many beautiful rose blooms, while the home industries section was very well represented by the many kinds of cakes,' etc., which had been prepared for the produce stall. Messrs Duncan and Davies also made a small but very choice display of seasonable flowers and plants. Afternoon tea was served both' inside the building and out on the lawn. Throughout the afternoon there was a very large gathering of those interested in Holy Trinity Church, as well as many from outside the boundaries of the parish, and good sales were made at all the stalls.
