PROPERTY SALES.
TOWN SECTIONS SOLD. Messrs Webster Bros, yesterday submitted to auction at their Devon Street rooms, a number of leases on account of the N.P. Harbor' Board. The first section offered was one in St. Aubyn Street with buildings thereon, Containing the rooms recently occupied by the Women's Patriotic Committee, and adjoining the Grosvenor Hotel. After spirited competition the property was knocked down to Mr. MeGinty, proprietor of the Grosvenor, at an annuar ground rental of £IOB. Three sections in Gill Street between Kawnu ami Cnrrie streets were secured by Mr. Newton King at the upset rentals of 20s to 25s per foot of the Gill Street frontage. The remaining 5 sections of the Mt. Eliot reserve wero pot sold. It is understood that Mr. Stanley Shaw has disposed of his valuable residential property situated nt Devon Street west to Mr- Greig, late of the White Cliffs estate, and now residing in New Plymouth.
