London, OoiiM.' 2A Speaking before the Army Committee of the House of Commons, Major-Gen-eral Sir J. Davidson urged the immediate formation of an Imperial General Staff, distinct from the War Office, to consider and advise on all problems of Imperial defence. The committee is approaching the groups in tjh® House of Commons, representative of the Navy and Air Forces, with a view to joint action.
