BOWLING.
OPENING OF YOGELTOTO GREEN. Under favorable weather conditions, vie formal opening of the Vogeitown Club's green for the season yesterday attracted a larse number of visitors, including iadios. Complimentary references were made by . visiting bowlers as to the improvements carried out since last season. Mr. T. Benton, president, heartily welcomed those present, and Messrs. A. K. Smart (New Plymouth) ,J. D. Sole (West End), and S. J. Smith (Fitzroy), returned thanks. The green was then formally opened and tho usual play between teams representing the president and vlca-presldent took place, six rinks taking part. Afternoon tea added to the pleasure of the gathering. B
