BISHOP OF AUCKLAND.

A VISIT TO TARANAKI.

The lU. Rev. Dr. A. W. Averill, Bishop of Auckland, arrives in New Plymouth by the mail train to-night, on his annual visit to the Taranaki portion of the diocese.

Bishop Averill will preach at Waitara on Sunday at 7,30 a.m., Qkoke at 11 a.m., hold Confirmation service at Uruti at 2.30 and preach asrain at Waitara at 7 p.m. On Monday he will conduct service at Okau at 11 a.m., and at Tonpaporutn at 7 p.m. On Tuesday he v/ill preach at Urunui at 2.30 p.m. and return to Waitara to conduct a Confirmation service at 7 p.m. On Wednesday he proceeds to :• rat ford. The movements of the Bishop after that date will be announced later.
