YOUNG HELPERS' LEAGUE. Captain Arthur Allen, who is so well known as an elocutionary entertainer of a very high order in many parts of the Dominion, has placed his services at the disposal of those who undertake the raising of funds in >'ew Zealand for the above homes, and hi? offer has been very gratefully accepted. It has been arranged that, under the auspices of the Young Helpers' Lea sue Captain Allen's first tour shall include a visit to each habitation between New Plymouth and Wanganui, and a commencement is to be made here this week The first of these "habitations" takes places in the Fitzroy Hall this evening at 8 s'eloek. Captain Alien will give a number of selections, and will be assisted by some of the school children and n few musical friends. * The second (Central School) habitation takes places' in THiiteley Hall on Fridav at S p.m., and in p.mntion to the , entertainment Captain Allen will have something to say concerning the organisation in connection with the work of the Homes. The third habitation in Xevr Plymouth takes place at St. Aubyn on Monday evening. The admiswon on each occasion is Is for adults and lid for children.
