SHAH OF PERSIA.

FINE RECEPTION IN LONDON. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, Nov. 1. Despite the inclement weather the Shah of Persia, accompanied by Prince Albert, had an enthusiastic reception in the streets proceeding to the city. He was attended by a sovereign's escort. The Shah conferred honors on Prince Albert and others, including the Order of the Crown on General Sir William Birdwood, who was attached to Mb suite.
