Received Nov. 4, 5.5 pjn. • Paris, Nov. 1. tfhe Minister for Public Works, who bas returned • from a visit to the devastated regions, states that at the of the armistice, 33,000 kilometres bf main lines and 12,000 bridges, great Jiepota and workshops were destroyed. To-day, the main lines, the majority bf the bridges, and 40 per cent of the ' fiepots and workshops are restored. Of ■B,OOO kilometres of roads destroyed, 12,000 have been remade, and the majority of the 3137 road bridges yrecked have been re-made.—Renter.
