JARMKKS' CO-OP. SOCIETY. The Farmers' Co-operative Organisation Society report us follows for the week ending November Ist: At Opunake, on Monday, we had a large yarding of all classes of stock, competition being particularly keen for good fleshy cows and heifers. Mr. Greenway's bulls were in good condition and the Jerseys were all sold at highly satisfactory prices. Other Borts were hard to quit. Jerseys bulls made to 89% guineas, Hnlsteins to 16 gns., Shorthorn? to 24 gns., forward cows and heifers to £l2 Os, light ditto to £9, 2-year-old Short-horn-Holsteln cross heifers £7 7s, yearling heifers to £6 Bs, steers to £5, dairy to £l7 10s, cows to £l9 10s, pen hoggets 31s, sucking pigs to 345. At Manala, on Tuesday, we had a fairly good entry which met with a good sale. Fat cows to £ls, forward cows and heifers to £l3 2s 6d, light conditioned ditto to £9, two-year-old heifers to £7 10s, yearling heifers £4 10s to £6 9s, steers to £4, dairy heifers to £2O, cows to £l4, sows to £ll 10s, sveaners to 335.

On the same day at Stratford, wo had our Usual entry which changed hands under the hammer at late rates.

At Inglcwood on Wednesday we had a large yarding of sheep* store, and dairy cattle. Practically tho whole entry changed hands at prices satisfactory to both parties. Quotations: Fat shorn ewes 30s, woolly ewes and ianibs (poor quality) 325, small hoggets 24s Sd, dry shorn ewes 23s lOd. three parts fat and conditioned cows and heifers to £l3 2s Gd, fat cows ditto £l4 Ts fid, light cows and beifers £7 to £9 10s, 2-year-old steers (bad bred sorts) to £G, yearling Jersey heifers to £8 Is, others to £G 9s, steers to £5 ss. At Inglewood, on Thursday, we held our annual bull fair when we yarded 70 bulls. Jerseys were in keed demand., but other breeds were not eagerly sought after. Altogether wo sold CO of nil classes, tinder the hammer nt the following prices. Jerseys to 40gns., Holsteins to Shorthorns to 19gns. A fair yarding of cattle and sheep came forward, competition was good throughout, and everyr thing changed hands at the hammer or immediately afterwards.
