HOUKS FOR WHARF WORK. By Telegraph.—Press Association.' Timaru, Last Night. The waterside workers decided to cease work at 5 p.m. and consequently the departure of the Karamu for the South, set down for Saturday night, was delayed until to-day. At a meeting of the union to-day it was decided that in future work shall cease at 5 p.m. on Saturdays, bringing the port into line with other ports of the Dominion.
