WITIORA CLUE. The second' round of the Wltlorn, club's championship Tesulted as follows:—A. Smith beat W. H. Broome, 1 up; N. Sole beat R. Cannoll, 3 up and 2; C. Bond beat G. Grey, I up. In the third round A. Smith plays N. Sole, C. Bond a bje; to bo played on or before November S. WELLINGTON LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIP. The Wellington Provincial Ladles' Golf Championship concluded on Saturday at Heretaunga, when Miss Anderson; of Chrlatchurch, defeated Miss Tweed, of Wellington, after an Interesting match. A bleak southerly wind blew across the links. Nevertheless a large number of enthusiasts followed the players round, and enjoyed the hard-fought contest Miss Anderson had the advantage up till the ilth hole, when Miss Tweed improved considerfttly. The 12th hole was halved; Miss Tweed won the 13th., 14th., and 15th., and had hard iuck In losing the 16th., which was halved in five, and the contest ended with Miss Anderson 3 up and two to play,
