AUSTRALIAN MEN PROTEST.

By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Nov. 3,12.10 a.m. Sydney, Nov. 2. A considerable section of soldiers are opposed to Mr. Hughes' proposal to pay them a gratuity in non-negotiable bonds. At a meeting in the Domain 4000 soldiers resolved in favor of payment in cash from the date of enlistment. They also resolved to ask for the release of all A.I.F. prisoners, as well as the refund of all fines imposed on soldiers during the war.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
