CITY OF WINCHESTER.
FIRE UNDER CONTROL. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Nov. 1. The City of Winchester fire is now under control. While engaged on the vessel tbis morning two watersiders named Thomas Upcraft and Dave Larnaph were overcome by fumes of CO2, a hundredweight of which was used in suppressing the outbreak. Upcraft is in a serious condition.
