EVERYBODY'S. NAZIMOVA IN "EYE FOR EYE." MATINEE 2 P.M. TO-DAY. The wonderful Russian actress, Alia Nazimova, had an enthusiastic reception last night at Everybody's, where she was starring in her third great feature production, "Eye for Eye." The story is a thrilling one of the Oriental loye and hate—depicting the two strongest motives in these fiery and passionate people of the East—where a human life means nothing in comparison with a traditional inheritance. Hassouna, the beautiful Arabian girl, born and bred in the desert, falls in love with a French naval officer whom she helps to escape from her tribe who intend to kill him. This brings the wrath of her people directly on the head of the girl and she is left to die in the blazing desert. The story is one of passionate hate and passionate love, and is more entrancing than any tale every told. Be sure and see this wonderful actress in this tremendous production. To-night will be the final screening occasion of "Eye for Eye." There is a fine supporting programme, and Mr. George V. Lambert will also appear again at the evening session. THE PEOPLE'S. FRED STONE IN "THE-GQAT." . A goat is a guy who works for someone else, who gets the credit. So says .Fred Stone, the world's leading acrobatic comedian who appears at the People's to-day, commencing at 2 p.m. "The Goat" is a virile play in which the lid of the movie studi# is removed and stars, extras, and directors may be seen at work. In "The Goat" Fred Stone does some wonderful climbing feata a*d risks his life riyht before the camera in a fall from a galloning horse. This picture shows exactly what is real and what is faked. The latest gazettes arc also shown, and to-night's bill includes the favorite Alma Reubens in the Triangle five-act play, "The Ghost Flower." MR. AMOORE'S SONG RECITAL. Below is an extract from a press cutting speakiag of the Australian tenor's voice while singing in (Scotland: "Mr. Frank Amoore is a first-rate tenor,, possessing a veice of great compass,, sweetness and purity, and he was heard to excellent advantage in all his numbers."
The concert takes place'next Monday I night at the Theatre Royal, Waitara. L
