SUPREME COURT.
WELLINGTON SESSIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, October 31. In the Supreme Court Henry Wong C.ye, on two charges of false pretences at Palmerston North, was sentenced to 12 months' imprisonment on each charge, the terms to be concurrent, and declared an habitual criminal. Michael Helm, on 10 charges'gf issuing valueless cheques, was sentenced to two months' imprisonment on each chnrge, the terms to be cumulative, and declared an habitual criminal. Leo Shadick, found guilty of theft, forgery and uttering, was remanded till to-morrow.
