In the House of Commons Mr. Bonar Law sympathetically referred to the proposal to bury an unknown private in Westminster Abbey, but the Government adhered to the cenotaph. BRITISH TROOPS IN SYRIA. Received Nov. 1, 1.25 a.m. London, October 29. Mr. Bonar Law, in the House of Commons, said that arrangements were being made for the withdrawal of British troops from Syria.
