There are reports that /the Roumanians have suddenly stopped the evacuation of Budapest. The Roumanian Government maintains that the Paris Conference is incompetent tp decide the question ol peace between Hungary and Roumania, because Roumania carried on the war without the Allies, and is therefore entitled to make her own peace. —Aus -N.Z.
