SOLDIERS' WILLS.

Now that most of the soldiers have returned to New Zealand and the great war has officially terminated, it is essential, states the Attorney-General, that those soldiers who have made "soldiers' wills" should carefully note the following information: All wills made by soldiers will have no force or effect, except where the soldier dies during or w;!ii n six months after the termination of the Avar, unless the will is one which has been duly signed before two attesting witnesses by a soldier who was over twenty-one years of age when he signed the same. ' This is so provided by section 34 (2) of the War Legislation Amendment Act, 1!)16. The date of the termination of the war for tins purpose will be the date to be named in a proclamation to be made by the flovernor-General under section 24 of the War Legislation and Statute Law Amendment Act, IMS. All soldiers who have w.ade such wills are therefore warned and advised to make new wills in the ordinary form appropriate to civilians.
