Complaint was made by a member of the Wellington Returned Soldiers' Association at- a recent meeting tliat furniture being offered to returned soldiers was "shoddy." He said that although the Repatriation Board made grants of £SO to returned soldiers for the purchase of furniture, the men were only able to buy articles of inferior quality.
