BRITISH WOMEN.
I MISSION TO DOMINION. Auckland, Oct. 22. Among the passengers by the Niagara Hre Miss F. M. Girdler. "Administrator of the Women' 3 Royal Air Force, and Miss G. Watkins, Technical Inspector for the Board of Agriculture, women's branch. Both are accredited by the British Government upon a mission of inquiry, as to the extent to which openings are available in New Zealand for women settlers from Great Britain. The inquiry is particularly concerned with openings for women who have served in one of the enrolled services—the Women's Auxiliary Army Corps, Women's Royal Air Force, Women's Royal Naval Service, the Land Army, and the V.A.D. _ The members of the mission will leave at once for Wellington to present their credentials to the Governor-Gene-ral.
