DAIRY FACTORY MANAGERS.

TARANAKI EXECUTIVE MEETING. A meeting of the Taranaki executive of the above Association was held at Hawera on Saturday. Present—Messi-s. E. Reeve (president, in the chair), Taylor, Hislop, Crosbie, Hall, and Neilson (secretary). The chairman introduced the new member (Mr. Hall) welcoming' him as a member of the executive. Mr. Hall briefly replied. Correspondence wag read from Mr. D. Cuddie, Dairy Commissioner, re grading conferences; at Patea and New Plymouth, suggesting November 12 for Patea and November 14 at Moturoa. The secretary's action in accepting the dates was confirmed. From Mr. F, W. Grainger (manager West Coast Refrigerating Company) and Mr. D- H. Morrison (manager of the cool stores at Moturoa) .stating pleasure in giving members at conferences facilities for inspecting works. From the Dominion secretary re correspondence with Employers' Union. Details for programme of days at grading conferences were dealt with, and luncheon arrangements were left in the hands of Messrs. Crosbie, Reeves, and the secretary. The secretary will notify members and others of dates of conference?. Messrs Cuddie and Singleton, of Wellington, also dairy instructors and Government produce graders of Taranaki, will be present.—Star.
