RIFLE SHOOTING.
A team from the Palea Rifle Club journeyed to Hawera on Saturday last, and fired a match against the Hawera Club, who have been holding the Taranaki Championship Shield, The weather was not favorable for hig shooting, but nevertheless some good scores were registered and n very interesting maTh resnlled in the Patea Club winning by lißl to CM.
