NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. The final of the junior championship between G. N. Deighton and R. T. McQuade was won by SlcQuade by one up. The ladies' monthly medal match for a silver button was played yosterday, being won by Mrs, Johns with a score of 104—19—85. The LG.U. silver medal for those with a handicap of 20 or ' under, was won by Mrs. Fohns, and the L.G.U. bronze medal for those over 20 handicap, was won by Mrs. E. A. Gray. The American tournament (season) ended in a tie between Mrs. It. A. Gray and Miss Head. The season will be officially closed on Saturday afternoon, when mixed foursomes will be played. Players are to choose partners and opponents, and post onlries will be received. A working hoe will be held on tho links on Monday morning, the day being a general holiday. TARANAKI v. WANGANUI. Tarannki will send a team of twenty players to play Wanganul at Wanganul on Monday. The Taranaki team is as follows: New Plymouth.—A. Bewley, YV. C. Weston, C. H. Butcher, G. Grey, J.
