The Lawn Tennis Association has cabled iho English Association suggesting janunTy 1C for the opening date of the Davis Cud competition. WAVERLEY CLUB. At the annual meeting of the Waverlcy Tennis Club the followins officers wove elected for the current year: Pres' nt, Mr. C. .1. Dickie; vice-presidents, Messrs. W. H. Wyboume. J. G Rutlierford, and W. Muir; ho'u. secretary and treasurer, Mr. A. G. Wallace; hon. auditor, Mr. H. Brtdmore; committee, Messrs. W. Canning, H. Bradniore, It. D. Wybourne, P. J. Wybourne, and F. Blennerhassett; croquet committee. Mesdaroes llathleson, Blennerhassett, W. Muir, and Misses Ireland and Cleary, the lalter to act as secretary; delegate to Taranail Association, Mr. I C. Nicholson. The club has a credit balance of £3l.
