The Paris correspondent of the Times states that the Supreme Council voted to hold the first meeting of the Council of the League of Nations in Paris on the same day as the formal deposit of the ratifications of the Peace Treaty are made. President Wilson has been requested to issue a call which will go to England, France, the United States, Japan, Italy, Belgium, Greece, Spain, and Brazil. The American delegation is positive that the United States will not be represented on the Council unleßS the Senate ratifies the Treaty before the meeting*—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
