SIX MONTHS' REVENUE.
INCREASE OF £1,192,147. The revenue of the Dominion for the six months ended September 30th was £8,349,145, an increase of £1,102,147 over that for (the corresponding six months of last year. The principal increases were:—Customs, £405,000; stamps, £547.771. The expenditure was £10,452,000, an increase of £2,190,S>3B over last year, the principal increases being: Interest and sinking fund, £850,928; same under special Acts, £313,000; railways, £409,000; Mental Hospitals, £200,000; agriculture, £113,000; education, £116,000. The Public Works Fund expenditure was £039,274, an increase of £128,923. The position of the Public Works Ihmd was: Balance on April Ist, 1919, £186,198. Receipts during the six months, £859,538. Balance remaining on September 30th, £400,462.
