The weather was fine and (here was a great attendance for the Caulfleld races. Delight was a hot favorite for tlie Owjn Nursery Handicap, but began slowly. Coleus led In the last four futlongs and won in the record time of 1.1%, Delight finishing fast on the rails in fourth place. The. Caulfleld Cup provided a great race. Nlghtwatch looked like a winner at the distance, but Lucknow finished in great style won by half a heck, with Chrome close .up third. Surveyor was seventh in the early stages, but finished fourth on the rails. All the three place-getters, were trained by Richard Bradfield. 'F. Bullock (tiie rider of Lucknow), won last year on King Offa from the same stable. The time, 2.32, is a Caulfleld record.
