TARATA DOG TRIAL CLUB.
ANNUAL MEETING. The twelfth annual meeting of the Tarata Dog Trial Club was held in the Hall on October 11, there being 14 members present. The president, Mr. H. Sander, was in the chair. The secretary gave a report on the year's workings, which proved very satisfactory. The receipts for the .past year were £B3 49 Td, expenditure £B4 4s sd, leaving a credit balance at the bank of £33 2s 2d, which is very i satisfactory considering that the stakes "were* increased, and it cost considerably more to run the trial. The secretary took the opportunity, on behalf of the committee, of thanking all those who assisted with tfoiphie3 and donations. The balance-sheet was adopted as read, and a vote of thanks to the outgoing committee was carried. The election of officials for the coming year resulted: Patron, Mr. r, paterson; president, Mr H. Sander; auditor, Mr. R. Lovell; committee, Messrs. H. Lambert, R. J. Morey, T. Hogan, D. Paterson, I'. M. Standish, J. Burgess, and S. George. Mr. Morey was elected chairman, Mr. D. Paterson, secretary, and Mr. J. Burgess, treasurer.
